GEORGE FALL married Elizabeth VanIderstine from Charlottetown and moved in to the original home of his mother=s grandparents, Samuel and Ann Sherren, which stood on the hill overlooking the mill (Later known as Stordy's). They remained until their deaths in 1922 and 1933 respectively. George is buried in the St. John's Anglican Church cemetery and Elizabeth at the Crapaud Peoples Cemetery. They had the following children:

George and Elizabeth's two oldest boys, William C. (Charlie) and Edward (Eddie) remained unmarried and lived at their parent's home. They were well known as the friendly bachelors who always had a soft spot in their hearts for children.

Their third son John H., was about to marry Eva Sherren, however, just before the wedding day he was cutting wood and a tree fell on him, leaving him crippled. Their marriage plans were cancelled. Eva later married John's brother George Clark.

Mary E. (May) their fourth child and first daughter married Russel MacDonald, lived in Carleton, and later moved to Summerside where they raised their family of four sons and six daughters: Joseph Hensley John Lois Gordon Amelia Dorothy Miriam Ruth and Eleanor

George and Elizabeth's youngest son, George C. (Clark) was born on November 7, 1889. He remained in Crapaud farming his property which he had acquired from Christopher Smith. In 1912 Clark married Eva Sherren, who was the daughter of David Sherren and Laura Carrier. Clark and Eva Fall had twelve children:

Blanche, was born in 1913, and married Willis Judson in 1943. They remained in the Crapaud area with their two boys, Clair and Donald. Blanche died on March 21, 1986, and Willis on April 5, 1982.

Lloyd, born on July 14, 1914 remained unmarried and farmed his parents land until his retirement. He died on August 4, 1987.

Elmer was born on January 12, 1916. In 1953 he married Francis Wallace from Alberton, PEI. Their children were, Sheldon (1954) and Sharon (1960). Sharon is now married to Francis Kelly and has three children.

David George was born May 13, 1917 and married Hilda Bisett of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia. They had five children: Ann Marie (1943), Mary E., (1944) Ruth M.(1946), David (1949-July 10 1974) and Barbara J.

John N., born in 1920, served overseas, and saw action in Holland. While there, he was married to Maria Biekens and raised four children: Nelson G. (1947), Lambertus C.T.(1952), Charles E. (1954), and Elizabeth M.E. (1955).

Willard C., born on May 14, 1921. In 1942 he married Margurete (Ince) Elsavor, of DeSable, PEI. They had two children: June (19 ) and Wayne (1945).

Earl R., born April 30, 1923, married Doris Dawson of Albany, PEI in 1952. They lived in Hampton and raised two children: Gwendolyn (1953) who married Norman Cairns from Stanchel, and Linda J. (1959), who married Michael Fraser. They live in Halifax with their one son.

Lillian M., born February 2, 1925, married Frank Cook of Sackville, New Brunswick, and had five children: Clark E. (1947), Franklyn F. (1953), Jimmy L. (1956), Janice L. (1960) and Christopher G. (1967). Janice married Gary Stewart from Crapaud and had two children, Nicholas and Christina.

Dorothy W., born October 17, 1920. In 1947 she married Leith Ferguson from Hampton where they later made their home. They had two children: Sylvia M. (1955), and Elmer L. (1963).

Marion R., born September 17, 1929, married Gordon Cairns of Lady Fane, PEI. They had two children, Dianne E.J. (1955) and Shirley R. (1958). Dianne married David Butler and lives in Cornwall with their daughter Lindsay Marian. Shirley married Roger Nicholson and has one son.

Gwendolyn B., born August 15, 1931, died of polio on September 9, 1946, aged 15 years.

The youngest son Leaman D., was born July 17, 1937. He stayed on the home property of his parents and continued to farm and work at Marine Atlantic. In 1960 he married Dorothy Boulter from Victoria, PEI, a village which borders on Crapaud. They had five children: Kenneth (1960), Darlene D. (1962), Eva B. (1964), Davison L. (1967) and Jennifer S. (1972). Darlene married Jack Campbell and they have a daughter Sebrina. Eva B. married a Mr. Bulman and has two children.

The youngest daughter of George and Elizabeth was Ruth B.(1894-1953). She married Ernest Inman and moved to North Tryon, PEI where they made their home and raised their family: Gertrude, Aletha, Vernon (who lives in Albany, N.Y.), Lorne and Kathleen.

Had the nickname " Roarin Dan " according to his great grandson Carle Van Iderstine .

The death occurred at Peter's Road, Lot 63, on Monday the 18th of Mr. Daniel Van iderstine, in his 66th year. Deceased had been ill only a few days previous to his death which came very unexpectedly. He formerly belonged to Vernon River where still resides his aged mother and his brother Hayden. He settled on Peter's Road about thirty years ago and after much toil and hardship became a successful farmer. His friends and relatives will miss him in their midst as he was a respected citizen and kind neighbor, ever ready to give a helping hand. He leaves a wife, five sons and five daughters to mourn their loss. Henry, David, Minnie, Lizzie and Eliza of Massachusetts, US; Alexander of Bath, Montana, John of Peter's Road, Mrs. Charles Stewart of Brudenell, and Neil on the homestead. The funeral took place on Wednesday. A large concourse of friends followed his remains to the Murray Harbour North Cemetery, where they were interred, there to await the resurrection morn.

He was born at Riverton, then Fish Pools. For many years he was an interested and valued member of Sharon choir and joined heartily in the congregation singing until the very last. He was a son of Anthony Culton.

Stellarton- Mrs. Blanche MacKay, Foord St., one of this town's most respected senior citizens, died early this morning at the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in Stellarton 85 years ago, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Culton. She was the last surviving member of her parent's family. Mrs. MacKay was a life-long resident of Stellarton, a member of Sharon St. John United Church, and of the UCW. Surviving is her husband George, and one niece. The remains will rest at the H.C. MacQuarrie funeral Home, Acadia Ave., after 7 p.m. today. The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2p.m. from the funeral home. Interment will be in Brookside cemetery
